I didn't stay at the campground, but visted the nearby vista and hiked for a few hours. It's pretty great if you're a nature lover.
Basic campground on top of a mountain. Perfect views of lake ouachita. Bring your own water to this delight.
Stunning views of lake Ouachita and the Ouachita National Forest... Really great place to go and relax sit and meditate and look at the view... Very remote but relatively easy to get to
Very good place to hike, little water falls are beautiful.
This is quite a primitive campground and the gravel approach road is 4 miles long. The view from the campground is not very inspiring either. You aren't missing anything if you aren't staying here.
